So I bought a Breitling Antares Automatic with pilot bracelet for about 1500 USD and I am very happy with it. Left it today for restoration :D
What I do need help with is some background/info on the watch.
Unfortunatly I bought the watch with box but no papers. (Breitling specialist guaranteed that its real not fake) But there is no serialnumber on the back? :/

So what do you know guys?

THX!

It is real, serial number could have been removed if it was sold originally in the grey market. Here's the page for the watch at this site with the vital statistics - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... der_6.html

Yes, I just love these Antares and have three myself. Very much real as Roff says. As for the serial number, it can be easily worn away by machine polishing of the case back. So many love to have that mirror like shine to their watch and but do not understand that it is fading away the serial numbers until it is too late. Best not to polish at all.

Thank you guys for the info! This is my first Breitling but not my last! I am now on the hunt for my second Breitling, probably an aerospace with blue dial and blue croc leather strap.

:lingsrock:

Thx again guys!
