Just had a browse on here and I would say the Super Avenger sits similar to this picture, although my wrist seems slightly smaller:

Hi guys, I am about to purchase my first Breitling and was instantly attracted to the Super Avenger. I was drooling over it in the shop window display, but upon trying it on, I wasn't so sure. I'm not sure if it's too big for my wrist or not? I have 7 inch wrists, and when I had the Super Avenger on my wrist the top lugs overhangs by about 5mm from my wrist and the bottom about the same too. In your opinion, when is a watch too big for the wrist? Should the lugs sit in line with your wrist? ie. no overhang Opinions will be much appreciated as I decide whether this is the one for me or not. |

I won't wear a watch when the lugs overhang on my wrist. The last pic looks to me like the lugs aren't just overhanging, but way above the outside edge of the wrist. The top down shot looks ok - a little big - but the last pic makes it look too big to me. But it doesn't matter what I think. Buy what you like and what looks good to you. |

Despite the watches size the sharp down turn of the lungs on the avenger series actually helps on a smaller wrist. If the flat area of the wrist is large then wearing the strap/bracelet tight will cause the lugs to dig in too soon and maybe uncomfortable. Also wrist is one dimension to consider, but also consider the general arm size. Long skinny arms are going to have a harder time pulling it off than gym pumped forearm and bicep (me being the latter!). |

Yep, I'd say that watch is too big for the wearer. You're meant to be wearing the watch, not the other way around. |

in this case the watch looks too big OP. i had the same issue with the SA so it had to go. if you LOVE the watch though who cares just wear it and enjoy. but if you are the type of person to dwell on this and it will drive you crazy, dump the watch now and get something else. |

If you feel that it is too big then it is too big. You may think now that you will get used to it with time, most likely it will be the other way around. |

I say just get the bracelet fitted just right including the micro adjustments and you will be good to go. Only person who will notice the lug over hang is you and if it does not bother you, then wear it and enjoy it. |

Seriously how you feel is the most important. If you have the confidence to wear it & love how it looks on your wrist, then by all means buy it. Imho most people made the mistake of looking at a watch at arm's length only. You should instead look at how it looks on you on a full length mirror -- which is how most others will perceive your watch on your wrist anyways. This to me is a much more accurate way of judging "is it too big" than just wrist size alone. I have a 6-3/4" wrist and most of my watches are 47mm (and bigger). |

I'm 6'2" with 7.5" wrist and I wear the galactic 41. I know it's personal preference, but I will not wear anything larger than 42mm. It just looks ridiculous unless you are very large, or a rapper. |

I'm 5'10" with a 7.5" wrist, and don't think my 44mm CWS looks ridiculous or makes me look like a rapper. I think that SA posted above does look a little too big for that sized wrist, but a 7.5" wrist could handle an SA.
