hello, recently i begun to question if i should trade my Blackbird blacksteel for something similar but bigger, it doesnt get any wrist time dont really know why, the blackbird size is the lower limit of size for my wrists, i have 7 inch wrists and i like my watches big, not too big but big, so chrono avenger cool size, omega POC 9300 great, the normal blackbird brushed ok, but the blacksteel version wears a lot smaller than the normal one, cant really explain why, so i started to see some similar blacksteel watches and got 2 under the radar that i could probably go, dont get me wrong i really love the blackbird blacksteel for me the pretiest blacksteel breitling made, i know many people doesnt like the look of the blacksteel breitlings, but i do, and since i already have the normal blackbird that i dont expect to ever sell or trade, maybe i could get something bigger whitin the same style and here are the 2 that caught my eye
1-Breitling Chronomat Gmt Blacksteel 47MM
similar layout whitout the big date but whit the inhouse movement, still hate the buck rogers font but in the blacksteel you barely see that, and it looks biggy



2-The IWC PILOT´S TOP GUN RATTRAPANTE DOUBLE CALENDAR CHRONO AUTO 46MM



what would you do?

I would keep it and buy one more watch...I never sell. But if you have too, get the one you want and sell the one you don't want.

I would go SA. Theres plenty to choose from.

Not sure that I would trade a BB, but I would go with the IWC. If you hate the bezel font of the GMT then why buy it - it may be less noticeable, but that's a chunk of change to drop on something that you don't fully love.

IWC also has the ratty complication which is much less common than GMT if that appeals.

actually i think i am more in love for the IWC, which is a great watch, great looking, ceramic case, ti pushers, double ratrapante chronograph, lack of bezel makes the 46mm look very big

and since i already have the original big date brushed blackbird that i would never sell, i think i probably go for the iwc if the deal is good

my small collection become bigger in brands, 2 breitlings ,1 omega and 1 IWC
