I've convinced myself that I can afford to drop $25k on the Breguet Tradition . . . but my wife isn't exactly sold on the idea . . . yet.

Thanks. Well, I guess I was being optimistic when I compared the look of my CWS to the Lange in terms of the dial. The back, however, is no comparison...

The Datograph isn't my favorite Lange from the front, but from the back it's a thing of beauty. I think I had a girlfriend once that was similar . . . When I saw my beloved Tradition in person, I was disappointed as to how plain the back looked. However, as it has no complications and many of the parts have been moved to the front, I didn't expect it to be as impressive as your Lange. I still expected something a little more refined, though. Nonetheless, I'd still happily wear it. |
