http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 1131921510 This is the exact Chronomat I am looking for. The price seems solid, and it is labeled as "new" with minor wear. This is my first Ling and am really nervous about making a purchase, especially not from an AD. I have gotten prices on this watch from several jewelers from $7,600 - $8,400... So the starting price seems really good. Just hoping someone on here could give me some reassurance or a big NO for some apparent reason that I am missing. Thanks! |

The fact that the warranty is undated is worth checking up on. That watch could have almost 5 years of warranty left or it could have zero warranty and you have no way of knowing which unless BUSA will tell you (which they likely won't). |

Unfilled warranty and unstamped warranty card is theoretically not valid. Breitling clearly states in their warranty conditions that the warranty card must be filled signed and stamped by the Authorized Dealer. In worst case scenario you could end up with zero warranty. Request the seller to send you a copy of the warranty card. It may well be that it is signed and stamped but not dated in which case you could fill in a date and cross your fingers ![]() |

Agreed, if you go through with the purchase I would do it as if the watch was not covered under any warranty. Do you know the history of the watch? Has it had prior issues? Am I willing to take a risk vs. good deal? Wayne |

Well, it does not seem to be raising too many alarms here. Keep in mind that if the warrantee has run out, then that’s the price point you are working to. I agree with Waynepjr1 on this one as his are the questions I would be asking myself too. If the seller does not have any answers to your enquiries, then your final assessment is down to a great price versus the unknown. There is a guide on the forum to help you get the best out of buying on line. If you have not read that yet, then it might be a good place go to before you continue your purchase enquires. |

If there is no warranty, to me, its worth $5,000 or less. New or used... To me withouth the warranty, it might as well be used. Does that sound realistic? Thanks |

Yep, thats a decision I respect, and with eyes wide open you may do a good deal on this one. But keep in mind the real value of that warrantee and any potential reluctance for the seller to answer your questions. Gauge the risk, judge the potential, buy or not buy. Its up to you. |
