Local AD offered 15% discount on entire line. Is this standard or a good deal? I do not own a Breitling (yet) but am strongly considering a purchase. |

I see you're in US, and from what I recall there can be greater discounts. However, without any earlier history with an AD I'd suspect that anywhere in the range of 15-20% discount is as good as you'll get. Apart from that, you can always send Mario (nick In2Deep) an email and ask him about the group buy. Good luck! |

I would try to negotiate a larger discount. It can be had. Some members have reported discounts as large as 30% but I've never had a watch discounted that much. 20-25% should be your goal, in my opinion. Good Luck! |

When I was shopping around at the beginning of the year (in the US) pretty much everywhere offered 15% without even an effort. |

My AD offers a 20% discount to anyone who is seriously interested in buying. If you are a previous buyer, they will offer 25% and you may negotiate to 30%, but that would be only if the watch is about to be replaced by a newer model. Today, my AD has all their Breitling watches on sale for 30% off, because they are renovating next month. I think the newer models will be arriving soon, so they want to sell off last year's stock. Just my opinion, though. |

NO, not in the u.s. 20% would be the starting point. i can get 25% from one place after buying only one watch.... |

Only time an AD didn't offer a 15% discount immediately after quoting the price was when the watch was considered rare. If you don't mind the hit on your credit score, a buddy worked a better deal by opening up a credit card. If you can pay with cash my local dealer was offering an additional 2.5% off. Best bet is to talk to In2Deep. |

Send a PM to In2Deep. I received 15% off my first Breitling (the Bentley) by just walking in to the local AD and being serious about buying. It's a good idea to start a relationship with your local AD for future service but there are better deals to be had, especially in the US. The group buy is the best deal I have seen from an AD. |
