Does anyone have any recommendations of where to go for a good discount please? I'll be in NYC for 10 days from tomorrow and am looking to buy my first Breitling (Chronomat), and maybe also something a bit cheaper like a Tag Aquaracer.

i got 20% off at the columbus circle tourneau, it was my first purchase there as well. a lot of people have mixed experiences with tourneau in general, so ymmv. i would recommend avoiding the kenjo on wall st, i find the staff to be rather rude, and the condition of many of their watches on display are rather poor. youll have to head to the other boroughs or long island if you dont want to buy from either of these two chains pretty much.

Thanks, I did post there recently and also sent you a PM but I know there are a lot of people to be taken care of, so I might bite if I find a spectacular deal while in NY. But chances are that I'll end up getting a cheaper watch like a Tag and just browse the Breitlings in anticipation of getting in on the Group Buy :-)

I'm also going back out to the US at the end of the month, driving down from San Fran to San Diego then flying over to Vegas, so if the deals to be had out West are likely to be better, I'm game to wait.

Thanks for your responses guys, really appreciate the help.

Also I read that Tourneau is having a 50%-70% off sale so might check that out. I fly in late tomorrow night, so will have to check it on Thursday... I doubt they'll have anything decent left though given that it's the last day of the sale.

I've been trying to finish up some projects etc, and the way the PM system works is it's difficult to catalog what I've answered and what I haven't so I've come up with a new system and will commence the group buy correspondences shortly. :)

Thanks for your input everyone.

Just FYI, I went to the sale and my idea above was correct, They didn't seem to be wanting to clear their inventory too badly, and pre-owned were still selling for just 20% off at the last minute of the sale, the same as they were selling for at the beginning. Likewise, new watches that nobody had bitten on weren't discounted any further to clear. So you really need to go closer to the beginning of the sale and be prepared to line up for the best deals, but I was chatting to some people there who said they'd been a few times and there WERE good deals to be had. This Tourneau annual sale is one to look out for, if you're in the market to buy a new watch next Sep.
