Im thinking of sending my Navitimer to Swiss Watch Service Center in Bay Harbor Islands FL. I can't find much info about the shop and thought I'd ask here if in fact it's an authorized center. Or, what's a number for a real Breitling USA center. I've looked on the web for the CT based center and all the phone numbers are no longer working. Help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Service centres are listed on the Breitling website and Swiss Watch Service is listed. |

If possible - it is always best to send your watch directly to BUSA. Many times the authorized service center will themselves send them into BUSA for service but they also work on them as well. If they send it into BUSA, BUSA will send it back to them and they in turn will return your watch to you - might as well eliminate the middle man. The main reason to send directly to BUSA is the fact that they will recondition your watch to as close as new as possible. Occasionally, service centers don't neccessarily have all of the jigs and tools to best recondition ALL Breitling watches. Any watch worked on at BUSA will carry a transferable warranty through BUSA. I personally prefer a warranty through BUSA than an authorized service center. Breitling USA Hangar 7 206 Danbury Rd Wilton, CT 06897 (203) 762-1180 Best of luck. |

Any watch worked on by any Authorized Service Centre will carry a transferable (and worldwide) warranty regardless if it is BUSA or not. You may prefer the work being done by BUSA but from warranty perspective there is no difference. |

And to be an authorised service centre they have to have training and equipment certified by Breitling so the idea of not being able to do work doesn't apply. The only restriction on servicing right now is in house models. |
