The pricing sounds great, but look at the diamond quality: VS2 to SI1 and G/H color. So in fact it will be mostly SI stones with 1-2 bad VS stones and mostly H color. If You are lucky, there will be no SI 2 with I color, and no fisheyes. That might look terrible compared to an original one.

You don't allways get what You believe to pay for.

Best greatings

ah rite, didnt realise that.

Whats the best way to go about getting a diamond bezel made then? obviously breitling factory ones would be best but at the price its abit too much.

Is it viable and cost effective to go custom???

Well, it is viable to go custom, possibly at a lower price than the factory bezel which is an additional $4500 list. One issue would be the acquisition of perfectly matched VVS Top Wesseltons. Not sure what jeweler I would trust to acquire and set 40 near flawless and exactly alike stones in the original bezel and have it look as good as the original OEM diamond bezel. Also, even if Breitling would upgrade the bezel for you a basic service charge would be levied at a minimum in addition to list price for the bezel. IMO, you're better off selling or trading in your EVO for a diamond bezel version and hopefully receiving a decent discount in the process. That said, aftemarket diamond bezels sometimes look pretty darn good and are certainly a lot less expensive overall but they will void any remaining factory warranty on the piece. If you do go aftermarket, you may well be the only one who knows it, then again, you will indeed be the one who knows it. Below are a couple of shots of the factory bezel which show the quality of stones and settings fairly well. Hope this helps... 8)
Cheers,
Ron
