I got my watch back a couple of months ago, and I've just realised that the second hand has changed style.

I have a A17360 and it went off with a square marker on the second hand and came back with a pointer marker.

Is this normal?

Hands have to be replaced during service because they are designed to be single use, and for that particular model the tendency has been to use the newer style. No idea if that is simply because the older style is no longer available or just because that is the current style.

Yeah I know the hands are changed during service just wasnt sure if it was normal for them to update the hands.

I wouldn't expect them to update the dial so was just surprised at the hands changing
