I have a Chrono Superocean. On the Pro II bracelent, it is very comfortable, but I got a rubber Diver Pro for a bit of variation, and cannot get it right.

With the tang in one hole it is just a bit too tight, with the tang in the next hole it is a little loose - not too loose in itself, but on this setting the watch keeps slipping around to the top of my wrist, and pressing on the sticky-out bit of bone on the outside edge of my arm (I guess it's the equivilent of the sticky-out bit on the side of an ankle - I assume we all have this!). It is doing this in a surprisingly uncomfortable way.

Is there a known way to slightly stretch the rubber strap so I can use the smaller setting without it being too tight? Any other ideas?

Not that I know of unfortunately. That is the inherant problem with any tang and buckle strap - the level of adjustment is simply not that fine. If it fits you, then you are lucky. (It's similar to the metal bracelet on the Omega Seamaster - fine adjustment on that is limited to a half link, so once again it either fits or it doesn't).

One option might be to get another hole made in the strap inbetween the existing holes, but it will inevitably weaken the strap at that point, and might be tough to get right. Probably also best to get that kind of thing done professionally at a shop.

The other option if you want a rubber strap (and it's not going to help you with your Diver pro!) is to get an Ocean Racer strap instead as it has micro-adjustment built in.

If you like the rubber more than the bracelet then you should look into an Ocean Racer which has a great deal more fine tuning capability.

Ive noticed that with mine as well, but theres nothign you can really do about it. We were just born with wrists a bit different than what breitling thought we should have. It does kinda break in a bit, so pick the one that feels better right now and let it be for a week or so and see how it is.

I tried a brute force approach - I pulled each side of the strap (it's quite elastic - relatively easy to extend by 50% or so), and it sprang back to a length slightly longer - can't see the difference, but it fits much better on the smaller setting now.

I had the same problem with my accutron watch. The bracelet just wasnt right. With double sided sticky tape i taped strips of leather inside the band. My bracelet fits perfect and you cant see the leather. Its more comfy too. What works as well is taping a piece of leather on the back of the watch face and wearing the watch till the strap stetches a bit then you can remove the leather and go to the next hole.
