I have my sites on a Evo, like this one of yours ....minus the diamonds. I have a question though, is the polished case and band a different model, an AD option, or an after market deal.

I have usually see this particular watch with the brushed finish and it is just not as handsome.

Thanks

Scott

I don't think I've ever seen this in anything other than polished steel...where have you seen one 'brushed' ?

Didnt look very shiney to me, but I guess the description says polished steel case. Maybe the bezel is brushed????

The top surface of the bezel where the indices are engraved and the top "flat" surface of the rider tabs where the numbers are engraved. Every other surface of the watch is polished SS. The same brush/polish scheme applies to the entire EVO line even if the piece is two tone with yellow or rose gold contrasting the SS. For that matter, even the solid 18K white or yellow gold EVO's follow the same surface treatment scheme. A visit to an authorized dealer to hold one in hand is of course the best way to visualize this. The Breitling Japan site has a fairly representative photo set of the EVO. Many of those stock photos on the web from the grey marketers do indeed make the watch appear to be all brushed but that is simply not the case. IMO, every model EVO is stunning with its beautiful polished surfaces and contrasting bezel/tabs. Diamonds do seem to brighten up the watch a bit but unnecessarily so I assure you... :)
Cheers,
Ron
