Lots of threads on cape cod and sunshine cloths here. Use the search function and find more than you could ever imagine on them.

Add to the Sunshine cloth Veraet Watch Spray, a gentle watch cleaner. It actually cleans better than soap and water, and leaves no residue. Although I used a gentle soap for years on my SuperOcean, apparently the residue from the soap can over time seep into the seals, even though I didn't have a problem.

The Sunshine cloths are wonderful as well every so often, then a wash with Veraet. I have never tried the Cape Cod cloths, but I believe they are more for getting out scratches.

Cheers,
Carl

I just purchased a Breitling polishing cloth on eBay, works real nice but at the same time I keep all of mine spotless.

I use Mother's mag wheel polish, and the fuzzy inside of an old athletic sock.
Just lightly dab the sock on the surface of the polish, I then rub vigorously using even strokes on the bracelet, and case sides of my SA, till the sock turns black.
Then I take the clean part of the sock and polish the watch to a brilliant shine. I also use a damp Q-tip, to remove any excess polish from in between the links
Keeps my SA looking minty, because that's my baby! :)

Does that remove light swirls or just a final polish?

That feeling will pass, first month or so you feel like a mother with a newborn baby. After the first few scratches you will loosen up a bit. Dry clothes will only go so far, going to have to use the wet stuff to get rid of swirls and light scratches.

Both. That's when I usually polish it is when I see light swirls on my watch.

The scratches that you will get on high traffic areas like the clasp just from regular wear.
