My Navi 01 will be a year old next month and, generally, I'm still over the moon with it. However, the bezel doesn't rotate anywhere near as smoothly as it used to. If I don't move it for a few days it sticks, and it takes quite a twist to get it to start moving again. When it does move it squeaks. Has anyone else had this, and is there an easy fix or does it have to go back? |

One of our best liked (and going thru a pretty hard time) members, Ron, wrote the article below. I hope the mods don't mind that it refers to another forum. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f39/naviti ... 63752.html |

Seems to have worked a treat. The bezel still squeaks if I turn it too fast, but it is much easier to turn. I'm not sure the dental floss I have is the best for this job, so may look out for better floss and keep it in my watch drawer! |

Just be aware that the easier a Navitimer's bezel moves, the less water resistant it is likely to be as a result of the fact that the bezel is a friction fit. (Not that you should be getting a Navi wet, but just worth bearing in mind. |
