Thanks Driver, yeah I spent like 30 minutes on that site and when I finally made my mind and got to the last step, my CC was declined :? Aparentely they can only process some CCs. Kept telling me that there was an error while processing.

if any of you guys have any luck do let me know what did work

I ordered two straps from them yesterday, after sending a few questions assuring they could manage my wishes for the second strap. One strap was a blue croco for a deployment clasp to my blue Chrono-Matic, the second... Well, let's just wait and see if I can produce a few interesting pics in a week or two.

I paid directly with my VISA, no problems at all. I think that if your CC has some problems, just send them an email (they replied to me within 30 minutes!) and I'm sure they'll have alternatives. Good luck!

Altair, congrats on snapping it up. I was interested myself but didn't move quickly enough. Well done :P

See this thread mate:

Get that credit card out! :D

Don't mind admitting that thread was what got me interested in the whole Blacksteel thing. Now I'm probably driving my AD nuts asking about it...

Just a little tip with the carbon fibre look strap as posted above, if you carefully remove the fixed band nearest the clasp, you can actually fit the black steel clasp from the original rubber strap, suffice to say it looks pretty cool, don't have any pics I'm afraid as I never took any when I did this and now my Black Steel is no more!

Stef

P.S If there is anyone UK based that wants this strap, let me know as mine is now spare! They are not easy to get in the UK!

Strap and dial looks cool but didnt like the casing, also insecure about durability of that finish. 8)

I also remember a guy a while back (on TZ I think) that custom made these straps. I dont know te differences, but that was the original one that I saw.

Well done mate, it's a stunning watch.

Oh if Roff checks out the sales section he, hopefully, might find his reward.

Get some pics up when it arrives.
