So I see many of you guys own a number of watches. How do you decide what to wear? Rotate? Depending what you are wearing? Just how you feel that day? Interested in hearing from you gents. Thanks in advance!

I usually have a group on rotation at any point and change that up when I feel like it. I tend to strap one on that suits what I am wearing that day - dress vs. casual, weekday vs. weekend, etc. Will also try to match colours to some degree but not overly bothered by that.

I usually grab one, wear it for a few days, then off to the next one. No particular reason for grabbing one, just like to change it up. If there is a specific event I'm going to, then I put a little more thought into what I'm grabbing, but on regular days, no ryhme or reason.

Most of the time it is down to a daily rotation.
What is strapped to the watch however will to a large extent dictate what I'm wearing.
For example, if I feel like going with a brown croco then it will be brown shoes, brown belt and whatever goes with it, black strap - black shoes and black belt. Bracelet gives me more options.
I know, sad but true :-(

My navi world is my daily driver because it looks good with everything. Bentley is my weekend watch. Monty is for a nicer event.

I can't explain how I choose as it's all about how I feel on any given day, but then, my collection is limited to Breitling, Rolex and Omega divers.

Sometimes I fancy a larger, heavier watch. Sometimes a smaller and lighter one. Sometimes I don't fancy a chronograph face, sometimes I do.

I try not to wear anything more than three days in a row. New watches are of course an exception. If I need a dress shirt certain watches simply fit better. To me, part of having a collection is keeping the experience fresh , appreciating what I have and never taking the pieces for granted

I tend to go through phases of wearing the same watch for a week or so, but there's no science to it at all. Sometimes I may wear a different watch every day : other times I may wear the same one for a couple of weeks. I've never been one to subscribe to the "matching belt, shoes, watch strap" school of thought, so I'm not hampered by considerations like that.

The only provisos I have is that I don't wear a "decent" watch for anything like DIY or sport, so if I wear a watch at all in those situations then it's a cheaper G-Shock. The only other watch I own that I have to think twice about in conjunction with my attire and/enviroment is my bright yellow G-Shock Frogman. It's too expensive to be considered a proper beater IMO, and yet.... it's bright yellow(!) which kind of restricts it to non-business situations. Apart from that I consider every watch I own to be perfectly wearable in any and every situation I find my self in.

Easy decision for me. My Aerospace is my only decent watch.

The 22nd has many mythical connections with time and the passing of Empires etc. but mainly it's the date I rotate my watches.
