Admin,

I think it would be a good idea for all members of this forum to get one of the new Montbrilliant Legends. It has the integrated bracelet leaving them WITHOUT the option of DEGRADING the watch with a leather strap. Let's get some new pics of the Legend up here ! The 2 tone model is really great.

I like the Montbrilliant Datora with the silver dial.

Very nice!

I would be nice to see. I'm not a big fan of many two tone watches, but I like the styling. At 47mm, that's HUGE!!!

It's definitely my next Ling - and automatic entry into the Full Ling club - bronze dial two tone - just gorgeous.

AD has the bronze on SS in store and that was tempting, but agree that the SS and rose gold is amazing. Almost makes me feel better that I can't afford a Mark VI complication 29....... almost

Admin,

I like that Hercules too my friend has one but remember when you get it you have to get it polished out because it is a DEGRADED, brushed finish. One good thing about it though is that it can't be degraded any further with a Leather strap because it is the integrated bracelet assembly.

I've been eyeing breitlings for about 2 years now. Almost made the purchase last year at my stop in Aruba (at little swiss). I opted for a Zenith instead. While in Vegas over the weekend I noticed the color of the legende and realized I must have it. I called my personal ex-AD (reitred) to find out what I think I should be paying. Vegas was far off. Drove to Cali to see my sister before heading back home. Looked up the local AD and they met the price I presented them. This is an extremely nice timepiece that I am glad to add to my collection.

My girlfriend, who gave final approval, thinks my Zenith is the cooler looking watch but really thinks the ling is a close second.

Yeah thats the turn off for me, to me all the Windrider series look twise as better on bracelets, and vise versa the Navi series. They just look ALOT better to me with the leather strap!!!!

But hey thats individual taste for ya, I for instanse cant believe someone would actually pay EXTRA for a gold version of any watch I dont care how precious the material is, I just love stainless

I tried on a bronze dial Legende on SS yesterday at my AD. When I saw it in the window next to the ordinary Montbrillant I thought it was going to look like a dinner plate on my arm, but it actually looked FANTASTIC!!! (It was obviously the tiny 39mm of the Montbrillant just making it look massive). It IS still a big watch, and with the integrated bracelet the lugs do seem to protrude more than you might expect, but it's absolutely beautiful. And the size of the case means that the gorgeous Navitimer bracelet is very wide - which is a good thing!

Oh well, that's another one to add to the list..... :)

I hear you Driver8. My AD still has it in store and in the next few weeks I'm going to have to go in to pick up my wife's custom Cockpit Lady - it's going to be tough to leave the Legende there - if it was on the two tone I don't think I could do it.

My wife isn't a fan of chronographs because she thinks they are too busy, but even she likes that watch - suggested I get it as a Christmas present to myself. Problem is she doesn't know I have spent the money on her Lady

Thank goodness I'm not married, and even then I think my woman encourages me to spend more and more on watches. I'll be looking at a solid rose gold Chronomat Evo, priced at $25,000 or something and I'll be like "oooh i like it" and she'll be like "you should buy that!"

:wowzers

She's certainly special - you might even say unique........

You have to understand the logic though. If I buy the watch for myself then it gives her more leverage to have something expensive bought for her - 'how come you have the money for your Montbrillant Legende, but I can't get a (fill in the blank)'.

I've created a bind for myself with the Cockpit Lady - the one she likes isn't a standard model so she doesn't believe that I can get it - that's a good thing because it will be a real surprise when it finally shows up from our favourite Swiss factory. The problem is that as far as she is concerned I haven't bought her anything equivalent to my own Cockpit - so I hate to think what is brewing if she wants me to buy the Legende too - she must have her eyes on something VERY expensive.

Still wanna swap?
