So I have warn this watch since last july. Its pretty much a daily wearer and still looks pretty damn good. The Chrono broke literally 1 months after purchase and it was about 15 seconds fast daily. I just got around to it and sent it in for repairs through my AD. Has anyone sent theirs in? I am worried that it will come back "fixed" but only for a short time and that the issues will once again appear. Does anyone know how seriously Breitling takes their repairs? Also do they get the scuffs out as part of the process? What is the process anyway? |

Use the search function and take a browse through recent threads - lots and lots of issues with the 01 movement, and lots of issues with failure to fix the problem the first time around. In terms of scuff removal - maybe. Technically they don't need to to fix the watch but it seems to be happening a little more often lately. |

How much do you think the watch will be worth if I sell it for something else to an AD and buy a different watch, possibly IWC this time around. I dont even want to use the Chrono when i get it back and risk it breaking then sending it in and waiting 6 weeks again. |

You would be better off selling privately and pricing advice is to check completed sales on eBay and dealer asking prices on Chrono24. |

Or better yet, stop worrying about something that hasn't happened yet and enjoy the watch. |

I am thinking of getting the avenger seawolf blacksteel over it. I'm not worrying just wondered if the issue repeats and from the forum seems to be the case. Their in house movement looks good on paper but in reality needs lots of work. |

My Chronomat B01 went to BUSA 4 times for the same chronograph problem. During the final trip, the entire movement was replaced, only to develop a new chronograph related problem. I have to imagine BUSA takes repairs seriously. When mine went in for the first time, the B01 had only been on the market for a few months. I was told that I was the first issue they'd seen, which could explain why they weren't able to fix it. Clearly, BUSA has received many more since this time, so I can only hope they've figured out how to fix the movement. However, I'd go into this ordeal not expecting it to be fixed properly. When mine was sent back, it was given a polish. I'm not sure if this is standard practice, though. |

Thanks guys. Yea I definetly won't use the chrono anymore after this. I can't send it back 6 weeks at a time. |
