I am sure that this is headed to many inboxes..... BENTLEY LIGHT BODY MIDNIGHT CARBON Ultra-light, ultra-sporty Beneath its all-black exterior, the highly original Bentley Light Body Midnight Carbon issued in a 1,000-piece worldwide limited edition conceals a light and sturdy titanium chassis featuring a highly resistant carbon-based coating. The dashboard-style dial displays two exclusive Breitling technical features highlighted by red-rimmed indications. The ingenious “30-second chronograph” system, heir to a 1926 Breitling patent, with its central hand sweeping around the dial in half a minute instead of the customary 60 seconds, provides highly accurate 1/8th of a second readings. Contrary to conventional tachometers, designed to handle observations based only on times of less than 60 seconds, the “variable tachometer” activated via the rotating pinion bezel serves to measure average speeds whatever the time elapsed, the distance covered or the speed reached. The originality and strength of the all-black design are accentuated by the hands and hour-markers also clad in matt black – enhanced by a luminescent coating ensuring optimal readability in the dark. The midnight black rubber strap is distinguished by its central raised motif echoing that of the knurled bezel – a refined nod to the famous radiator grilles gracing the prow of Bentley cars. The performances of this elegant and ultra-sporty watch are powered by a selfwinding chronograph movement chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute) – the ultimate reference in terms of reliability and precision and the only one based on an international standard. Shocking to see a new DLC model, although this isn't the worst - the red and black works for me this time as a sporty piece, although pricing will doubtless be ludicrous. |

Woooooo, DLC titanium now. Whatever next..... ![]() As Roff said, not the most hideous offering I've seen, but all that red just looks a bit tacky to me. If the red was white, it would've worked a whole lot better IMO. But once again the Tardis-like DLC paint-pot still manages to keep flowing. |

I'm just not a big fan of the Bentley line, I mean I get it, it's just not for me. I wouldn't want to wear one if I didn't drive a Bentley. I will say this one isn't too bad, and is probably the best from the Bentley line. |

To me this is nothing more than a gimmick. No real value added to the areas of design, functionally or innovation in my opinion. I know some people may differ, but that's just my opinion. They made a titanium case look black. Good on them. |

I think it would look great on the wrist, but good God the hit you'll take on that one driving it off the lot. Breitling is getting too rich for my blood and the only chance they'll get me back now is if they come out with something I like enough to part with both my watches to own... and that Bentley certainly ain't it. Doesn't this release also say we're probably not going to see the Bentley change anytime soon, unlike was discussed earlier. |

Nothing to prevent new models from being brought out within the range - just like a new Cosmonaute (say) wouldn't prevent an in house Navi World. |

I actually like it, but not even close enough to buy one. Did I miss the size? These announcements make me excited for Basel! |

Size is definitely a limiting factor (read it was 49mm?). Bentley line isn't normally to my tastes (although the white dial Mark VI is a nice looking piece). I don't mind the titanium, in fact wish they would bring back or introduce some more titanium models in a more reasonable size. I also hope they don't get in a big hurry to flood their lineup with the in-house movement (slowly integrate it into the high end pieces is OK). There is a lot that can be done with the ETA/clones, just need to work on style and overall design, keeping the prices reasonable. We will soon see what Basel brings this year! |

What can I say...A very nice piece... Very sporty, very cool, very trendy and very nice color combination....However I get this strange feeling that I can't see myself keeping such a watch for long term. I would have gotten it if I were a rich dude....something cool and different to add to my collection, provided if I have that kind of money to get many pieces of course. |
