Hey guys, just looking on some input on something I read recently.... One of the moderators on another watch forum said that he retured his SOH 46 watch because he discovered an error on the dial. The writing »200M/660FT« was not paralel to the date window frame, it was about 1 mm off to one side. Since this piece is quite high on my wish list, I'm a bit worried now. ![]() Has anyone here had a similar experience with their SOH? Thanks. |

Hmmm, are you certain his was real? There are a bunch of really close fakes out there. ![]() |

My buddy just got his, and just sent me pictures of it, looks good to me. He didnt mention anything to me. Maybe it was just that one, it got past the inspectors... |

If you watch the 'making of' videos the stamping process is automated, I doubt a robot could be 'off'. Was the guy who sent his back cross-eyed by any chance ![]() |

![]() Yea, he's a collector and knows his stuff, plus he buys from an AD, so I'm sure it was real. Anyway, I really do hope it isn't a big thing, although another member of that forum wrote in the topic and said his had the same problem. I wanted to post a link to that thread, but I guess it's not allowed to link to other forums, so I didn't want to disrespect this site. Thanks for the responses guys, I do feel better now. |

![]() Hi guys I know this fellow personally, he LOVES Breitling. Even has a big Breitling B logo tattooed on the top of his arm......no, really. His SO's stamping was slightly off. Mine is pretty much dead on. The watch went back to Breitling, and was returned saying they could not rectify the problem. His AD took the piece back. He's a good customer. Davey |

Hah! NO ink for me thank you very much. If it is indeed a competition, then I would like to gracefully bow out at this time ![]() |

Well, That person with the fault is me!!! I noted that the writing was out by at least 2mm and when i sent it back under warrenty, unfortunately it couldnt be sorted due to the replacement dials suffering the same thing. They offered me a complete replacement, but my ad took the watch back and i got my Monty legende instead... Oh for those who dont believe Davey ( damnfoolman) hes wrong its not a B on my left shoulder its the full wings!!!!!! ![]() |

Thanks for the info, Lou! Glad it all got sorted in the end! On the other hand, I am now a bit nervous about buying the SOH, it is lovely, but now all I can think of is what is mine has the same fault.... ![]() |
