Post subject:  New to Breitling and this site
I have read many posts on this site prior to and after purchasing my initial "Holy Grail" to the Breitling family...a blue face SuperOcean! I must say that I have enjoyed alot of the topics on this site. Many helpful hints on what to and how to with these very nice time pieces.

I have had my eye on Breitling for years and finally convinced (sorta) my wife to let me get one. I chose the SuperOcean for its sheer beauty and reputable namesake (other choices were the Colt II or Steelfish). I have loved it from day one. This thing gets alot of looks and compliments...hopeflully I will be able to upgrade down the road. :P :P

Im sure this was a typo, because we dont upgrade around here, we add to the collection :)

Plus, there is no such thing as an upgrade. All models are equally impressive in their own right. Different looks and features? Yep. Upgrade? Nope.

I think you'll soon find, with or without your wife's permission,
that Breitling madness can be a lot of fun. :wink: The Superocean is a
great first Ling. Maybe someday you'll decide to bring home his
big brother, the Steelfish. I promise you won't regret it. Enjoy your

All of your are right. There should not be an upgrade. My comment was aimed at acquiring another Breitling model (Avenger Skyland...black steel version) to my collection.

Thanks for the welcomes and I look forward to more updated information on "our brand" of watch.
