Just a reminder here. Most here may already know this but for the 5 year warranty to be valid, we need to send in our B01 movment watches at 2 and 4 years from purchase date. If we don't I was told Breitling may not stand behind the entire warranty.

My understanding is that the 5 year warranty applies to in house movement equipped watches sold from Jan 1 2012.
If that's the case than still at least one year to go before the first 2 year check.

Correct. With my memory, I had to set up a reminder in Outlook.

Out of interest what does 'sending them in' entail - ie quick check at AD or weeks away at the regional HQ?

Your local service centre will conduct the WR check for free. Remember to bring along yr waranty card. I think at most 1 to 3 days cos it's just to check for water resistance. Definitely won't take that long. The bi-annual WR check is a must for in-house or else if they are not liable if any water resistance issue arises within the 5 years warranty period.

Is this for 01 movements only?

Are you sure about that? It seems like Breitling doesn't do anything in 1 to 3 days. Just wondering if you've actually looked into it.

Ya I have blasted my local service centre's e-mail with queries initially when I bought my watch. Definitely not as long as servicing but however, how long exactly they take also depends on the number of tasks they have on hand.
