Hello,

I just bought a Super Ocean 42 with the Abyss Yellow dial. I love this watch! I was wondering if there is any literature on this watch or Breitling watches in general. I want to be able to talk intelligently if people ask me about it.

Welcome to Breitling Source. Richter authored a book called BRIETLING THE HISTORY OF A GREAT BRAND OF WATCHES 1884 TO PRESENT. IT may meet your needs.

Well, except that 'Present' is about 20 years ago now.

The best source of information is likely to spend some time reading the different threads here.

well, for an overview about Breitling history and many past and most of the present models and movements, "Breitling - The Book" is probably nice to have, good pictures, makes a decent coffee table book. Often offered on ebay.

I am also the proud owner of a SO2 Yellow...........I am still going through the stage of staring at it for all the time :D
