Post subject:  Are Breitling bands interchangable??

I recently got a pair of Emergencys,as i wanted to try a steel band as well as a croc/soft band.

Its' driving me close to divorce, but worth it thus far, although i digress..

My plan was,to try both, then sell the 1 i liked less,so researched for months, spoke to many owners

and other friends/family members who also fly and own similar watches, then finally

landed 2 1-owner Emergencys, both 2007's,(as i was told the earlier models had "issues")

and promised the wife i'd sell 1 immediately after deciding which one i would keep..

My question is,can you arbitrarily swap bracelets from watch to watch, assuming they are both the same model Emergency?

My goal is,after i sell either one of the 2 i have,is to then purchase the opposite style

band,so as to have both a steel and croc style for one watch, but have no idea if it is that easy.

Can i simply bring the watch to my local Breitling store and ask for them to take off 1 and easily

install any other Breitling band i find,or are these original bands that came w/ the watch, customized to fit

these particular watches specifically??

Thanks in advance..

End links are unique to each model, but obviously a bracelet will fit every watch of the same model.

Many threads on changing bracelets as well as this - http://www.breitlingsource.com/video_ar ... p%20Change
