Recently got an Emergency which was last services was 12 months ago, anyhow it has some scratches, I've called local AD and they told me its $250 for polishing

If I send just for polishing do they open any parts and will they replace the gaskets

How it works

A polish is just a polish, and ADs aren't authorised to servce Emergencies anyway. That price is frankly a rip off, just search here for Cape Cod or Sunshine cloths and do it yourself - will be fine until the watch needs servicing.
