Post subject: | Breitling in Airport |
Hi All So I'm just walking in the door from my last trip. I was in Toronto on business quick trip, but fun none the less. I got checked into the airport on my way home today and had a few hrs to kill so off to the Air Canada Maple Leaf Club Similar to Red Carpet Club. As I walk in I see the usual clocks from different time zones throughout the country. I took a closer look and low and behold they were all Breitling's!! They were black face dial's, I took a few pictures of them and once I get unpacked and what not ill post them up. Just wanted to let you guys know! it was very cool! Kris |

They've got these in the BMI Diamond Club lounge in Brussels http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/8454/dsc022120hs.jpg If you've ever been to Lugano airport they are all over the place. |

Has anyone ever seen one of these pop up before on eBay? I wouldn't mind having one of those to hang on my wall at work? Thanks for the pictures, I have never seen that clock before. ![]() |

Sounds like my best shot might be to make an offer to a local AD. It appears that In2Deep has a choke hold on the eBay route with Breitling stuff? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() You'll need an AD prepared to bend the rules - they aren't supposed to sell any of the promo / display stuff. With display pieces their usual approach is to tell Breitling that they were lost / broken, so you'll need one to claim that it was dropped or something. |

I don't think I am going to have much luck then with talking my local AD into selling me a wall clock. I think we have parted ways after the last phone call I had with them. I called the sales girl that I purchased my Skyland from to see if they could even come close to the Group Buy price for the new Super Avenger, as I would have loved to continue to build my relationship with them. She put me on hold and said she was going to check with her manager, when she got back on the phone the price went up 5% more than what I paid for the first watch I bought from them! I pointed this out to her and told her that this was basically telling me to find another dealer. They didn't argue this and told me to have a good day. I can understand the Dealer not wanting to discount and that Breitling is trying to steer away from this entirely. I guess I am just a little surprised that the discount they would offer would go up to a return customer? I would love to pay full price for a new Breitling but as long as there are deals to be had, I am not going to turn my head to thousands of dollars in discounts. Oh well, I guess I can always take my Breitling’s to them for service or a polish when needed. Sorry for taking this thread this direction, but I guess I am just venting. ![]() |

Wow that would look great hanging in the living room, next time I'm at the airport I'll have to keep an eye out for those. |
