Hello and Happy New Year to all. I am looking into a purchase of a new Colt Quartz II or Colt 44. My question is this: on both of the watches I've located there is a date on the white sticker on the back of the case, the Colt II reads 2015, the Colt 44 reads 2018. Is this the supposed battery end of life date?

Sort of.

It's the date by which the battery needs to be changed if the watch hasn't been sold.
