Hi all, just purchased my first Breitling : a Superocean Heritage Chrono (A13320). Link below. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breitling-Super ... true&rt=nc I'm very excited and it should be arriving Wed or Thur of this week. The brown/black croc strap would not be my first choice, so I'm looking at possibly purchasing a rubber or mesh strap. My question: is swapping out a strap an involved process (i.e. bring to your jeweler)? Or is it something you can do yourself? Thanks for any insight and would love to hear any opinions on this timepiece purchase. Cheers, Scott |

Welcome aboard and congrats on your first Ling. Swapping straps and bracelets is piece of cake with this tool... http://www.watchtool.co.uk/bergeon-6767 ... -6516.html Just be sure you use correct strap/bracelet springbars. |

Excellent - thanks for the link. Once I receive the watch I'll figure out if/when I will get a second strap. Looks like the rubber ones are 3-4 hundred and the mesh closer to 8 hundred (US). Thanks again for the welcome! |

Thanks again for the welcome! You can pick up a Diver Pro II with tang buckle for less. Just bought one myself off the E for $198 + shipping. http://www.bernardwatch.com/Breitling/S ... 42/BRT1784 |

Thanks - I see that same merchant. Do you have to cut the rubber diver straps, or are they wear-ready for average size wrists? |

Just make sure you buy the correct size. BTW... I'm totally assuming those straps are legit, and I don't really see any red flags regarding the seller so went for it. |

My AD got me into a silicone strap for about 80 bucks. Another possibility is a custom-made strap. IMO shark is among the best of all strap materials. I have many and all are made exactly to my specs. |

The FB-504 tool works fine for me, at a reasonable price, and has one more tip: http://www.ofrei.com/page252.html The web page compares it to the significantly more expensive Bergeon 6111, which seems to be the same tool. Shipping cost is a consideration, too. |

Obviously, opinions can vary. Why is this yours? |

What I'm asking is why you prefer it to the 6111 or FB-504. I read the other threads and don't recall this question being answered. |

The fork on the 6111 is way too big for my liking. |
