I'm really thinking of getting a blue leather strap to go with my Chronomat Evolution. Do you think it would look good? Sometimes I just need a break from the bling.

This is the specific one I am thinking.

Thoughts??

I personally really like the Hirsch Liberty Straps.. they are thick... thick enough to handle the Evo :) No blue in that strap though.. but Hirsch and Hadley Roma straps are great!

nonggadin,

Placing that magnificent Evolution on a strap is DEGRADATION. If you want to wear a watch on a strap go get one of those UGLY, PLAIN Panerai's like Sportback likes because watches like that don't deserve a Ling Bracelet. All Lings belong on Ling Bracelets.

Hahaha Ling Man! But I kinda tend to make it look like a semi-PAM for a change. Having the best of both worlds I'd say. I know, I know ... only the Pilot's bracelet gives its full ling glory.

One of the nice things about Panerai is the really easy strap change - the 'paneristi' regularly change straps (leather) and it's normal to have a few different straps to suit an occasion.

An example

and another

Good that you have all those choices of straps for your PAMS, Sportback :D

I just have two for my Evo: Go with the original or the blue strap.

How does one go about ordering a Hirsch and Hadley Roma strap; if one was to order one that is? If maybe someone wanted to put it on say a blue emergency what size would that person need?

Also said person would like to know of a good tool to remove the pins to swap bracelets.

Admin,

I have 5 straps on order 3 or 4 of them are Hirsch and/or Hadley Roma straps. Hopefully by next week this time I should have them and pictures to post. From what I see on the website these straps look amazing.

The bracelet on the Evo or anu Ling for that matter is special.
They are so uniqely well crafted. But if you want a strap, I'd choose brown calf skin. That'll look really good on it! :D

Regards
