I went to the AD today to look at the Avenger to replaces my 2006 B-2 which I am in the process of selling. The AD saw the B-2 on my wrist and asked how I liked it, I told him I loved it, but I wanted to upgrade. He then stated that since the watch has been discontinued, the price for slightly used B-2's has really taken off. He stated that last year at this time a 2006 was getting about 2000-2300 for a perfect condition used, but today they are getting between 2800-3100 for them. Has anyone else heard or seen this, I am in NJ. |

I've not heard that myself..... but then I'm not a dealer so can't vouch for the comment. With most Breitlings it's best not to think of them as investments per se, as very few will appreciate in value. Some of the more rare limited edition models may experience a slight rise (and will normally hold their value a little better over time), but they are not like certain models by Patek Phillip etc that will appreciate. What I would say is if you like your watch, then keep it : if you fancy a change then maybe you could trade it in. I'm confident you certainly won't be missing out on an appreciating investment if you do decide to change it. |

Don't know about the B-2 but the price of the B-1 certainly seems to be rising. |
