Why the mission has 100m water resistant and the other one is just 30m? Any difference between both of these version? And is emergency still in production ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Mission has a screw down crown whereas its titanium brother doesn't as its crown is needed to operate the functions. If the Mission had been made from titanium and, as it has the same movement as the Chrono Avenger M-1 whose pushpieces operate magnets within the watch case which activate the stop watch, the Mission might have been able to boast a fully operational stop watch at the 1000m depth the CA M-1 is rated to. One has to remember that the titanium Emergency watch is primarily a pilots watch and if it were to find itself at any depth in water, something drastically bad must have happened in the cockpit. ![]() Both the Ti E and E Mission are now out of production. |

Because they don't remove them from the website very quickly - it's been discontinued for some time but there is supposedly a new one coming on the frequency in the next year or so. |

And also the fact that some AD still have these watches new in stock (Emergency in titanium & steel and mission model too). Since August 2010 and Dassault has stopped to produce the ELT, Breitling baught from them all their spare stock to be able to service the actual Emergency models. (Hopping that they willl propose to replace an old Emergency model by the new one for a good price, like New Pluton 3100 with an Aerospace model E79362 for 1765€)... ![]() Breitling will replace it by a new generation of Emergency watch (perhaps receiver & transmitter on some different frequencies), that's only what I can say from now... ![]() These "Emergency models" are on their website from now (to remember them), because it's a iconic design, the brand for professionals, it was for 15 years (1995 to 2010), it was with the Emergency models. |
