For those of us that only read english, is the auction for the whole set of 4? What is the Pacino reference all about?

I am just going out on a lib here but the world is yours is the statue from scarface... and al pacino is being mentioned....perhaps the watches are limited to commemorate scarface? The #1 movie of all time... :D

Don't read too much into that part, I think they mentioned it because it was a motto for the gang.

The 'world is yours' series was issued as four different versions, each limited to 40 each. Obviously this is one of the versions that manged to keep the set together. It's not a common set - although coincidentally it was one that I listed on the LE list earlier this week.

I don't know the history of it, but would be surprised if it had anything to do with Scarface.

I've seen this auction before, but think he didn't get the bid he wanted then. The seller has a lot of interesting watches up every now and then, but quite often at a rather pricy level.

He's getting better though - this is the Breitling Museum guy who was trying to sell unique Breitlings (once owned by a famous person for example) for $100,000+

Yes, he's getting better, but he has some way still to go... :) However, it would be interesting to know where he hunts his objects down.
