Hey guys,
I was in an AD the other day, and he says "I have something you might like". He pulls out this new limited Avenger blacksteel. Well as many here know, the Avenger Skyland was already done back in 2007. However this Avenger, is the same except for the dial - it's all blacked out. Yup, the stenciled numbers are raised, but black. :? Personally, I did not like it at all. I really liked the Skyland and SA blacksteel and owned the SA version. The numbers were white and easy to read. I also like the SWC BS. This watch had lume on the hands and markers but that's it. I don't know if Breitling is taking a page from the Bell and Ross playbook, but it just doesn't work for me. I'm sure though, they will sell.... Next time I'll get pics and post them.

-Don

I'd have like to have seen some pics of that.... not because it sounds great, but just out of morbid curiosity! If it's like I'm imagining it certainly won't be an "instrument for professionals".

It's been a couple of months since the last Blacksteel LE so we were overdue

Doesn't really sound like my cup of tea (and I have the 'original' Avenger BS).

I just saw this one too, it doesn't look very good. The blackened numbers on the face look odd.

Doesn't sound like something for me either. Never warmed up to the 'blackout' dials, like a good legible dial with white/lumed numerals or markers. May try a DLC case sometime though :) .
