Hi Guys,

First of all, thank you very much for allowing me to participate in this forum.

This December I have received permission from my wife to add 1 watch (one watch only) to my collection.

The budget is around USD 8000...

So I planned to purchase a pre owned TT Submariner (blue dial)...

But suddenly I found out that a pre owned watch store here selling a New Old Stock of Breitling Chronomat Evolution in 18KYG & Steel with British Racing Green Dial as per the picture below. The price is around USD 4750...

That watch really amazed me...what a beauty...

So I really need your opinion guys...Should stick with my old plan to get a pre owned TT Submariner (blue dial) or should I take the New Old Stock Breitly Chronomat Evolution.....

Please tell me about this watch...is this a good watch? What about the price?

Thank you very much for your opinions...

Regards,

Syahril

Hi Syahril,

Welcome to the forum.

For my money, I would buy the Chronomat Evolution and save the cash. You get a watch that impressed you and you earn points with your wife. :D

I will leave ito to others to talk about the advantages of each, but if I were you I would pocket the change and get a full warrantee to boot.

That Breitling is a beauty for sure, but if you we're going to get the sub, I assume you wanted it on a bracelet. The watch you picture is on a strap. If your deal included the bracelet for the Chronomat, I'd jump on it (the Breitling pilot bracelet is simply awesome).

The sub is a very solid watch (I've owned the plain steel model), but it was a bit boring to me cause I like the look of chronograph watches with those subdials and the pushers on the case. Good luck with whatever you choose.
