As I wait for my TO LE, which I ordered with brown croc, I was wondering if anyone here has a TO Chrono on metal bracelet (other than mesh)?

I will eventually want a metal bracelet as an option, but I just don't like the mesh. I do like the Navi bracelet, and I believe the curved fitting should fit the TO as well since both watches are 43mm diameter and both have 22mm lugs.

Anyone with pictures? Preferable with silver face? Any other recommendation?

Thanks in advance

I don't think any other Breitling Bracelet with typical endlinks will fit the TO. Assuming it has 22mm lugs, it is possible the Navi bracelet from the 44mm Chronomatic will fit because it doesn't have traditional end links. There may be some other models with bracelets like that as well.

Here is a video showing the Crhonomatic and it's version of the Navi bracelet - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLuL1e1AHPQ

I personally think the (EDIT for typo) Chronomat 01 bracelet should fit. Sure, it'll have a gap between the bracelet and the case as the end-links on the Chronomat bracelet is straight, but then so is the mesh. How good it would look is another matter entirely, but I still think it would possibly fit.

That's the thing about Breitling bracelets (although other brands may do this, too): dimensions alone don't tell you what you need to know. Typically, endpieces will be made to fit a specific model of case. Take, for instance, the Chronomat Evolution and the Chronomat 01/44. Both are Chronomats, both have Pilot bracelets, and both bracelets are designed to fit 44mm cases with 22mm lug width. But the endpieces of the two models are dramatically different. Even if they will technically fit the other case, they won't look or work right. And that's the distinction Driver8 was making: the Navi bracelet might fit the TO (or it might not), but odds are it will not look right. If it were me, I wouldn't be dropping $1400+ on a bracelet unless it was going fit my watch perfectly.

It is? The case edge is rounded between the lugs. Is the bracelet designed to leave a gap? I know the Air Racer is, but I thought the Navi bracelet fit flush.

One more time - the Chronomat 44 Navi bracelet will fit the TO just as it fits the Chronomat. It just sits in the lugs like a strap or Ocean Classic mesh. You may even be able to get one from Breitling. Not likely, but possible.

Even if the standard Navi bracelet works somewhat, there is a chance the gap between the sold end link and the case will allow the end link to pivot with the lugs about the spring bar, leading to some awkward looks.

One thing Breitling can take away from this thread - for goodness sake give the TO a real bracelet option. No offense to the OC mesh, but it always seemed to me more of an occasional look bracelet, not an every day wearer.

Sorry I overlooked that the first time. You may be right. The TO lugs are longer, though, and the point where the pins sit is further from the case, so there will likely be more of a gap than with the Chronomatic. Probably no worse than what's already there with the mesh, though. I guess there's something to be said for having endpieces that are not tailor made to the case, although they're actually a pet peeve of mine. I just don't dig gaps.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was looking at the dimension of the Navi LE which are identical to the TO LE and I figured the form fitting circular end piece would blend with the TO?

I like the TO and I like the Navi bracelet, but you guys are right, it is hard to tell if they would look good together!

FEAR if your looking for a weekend project perhaps you could snap a picture or two of a TO with a NAVI LE bracelet too see if it fits/looks good?

Once again thanks for the opinions.

Apologies, I meant the Chronomat 01, not the Navi 01. I was typing while thinking of something else.

Basically any 22mm bracelet with straight end-links (like the mesh) will probably fit to a certain extent as long as you don't mind the gaps.

I agree with Sharkman here that a "proper" bracelet alternative to the mesh for the TOC is sadly lacking. With a linked bracelet, the TOC would be a real contender to the Omega Speedmaster IMO.

Hi all... first time on this board (which has been very helpful--thanks to everyone!)

I'm just wondering if there was any further update on this issue. I'm in the final stages of trying to decide about this watch but am not a fan of the mesh bracelet (but can't wear leather). Has anyone tried another bracelet--and better yet have pics?

Thanks very much! :)

If Serge still has the pics from his with the Chronomat B01 bracelet, I'm sure he'll post it and his thoughts.

I tried it on a Chronomat bracelet. As some pointed out when I was in the buying process, the bracelet looks a bit too bulky/heavy for this watch. It did not work for me and I ended up selling the watch almost immediately. I hate the mesh bracelet as well. I also didn't like the length of the lugs on the TO, it wasn't a good match for me but the dial was very very nice looking. Good luck with your decision.
