Has anyone seen this watch before? I have been doing a bit of research and as far as I can find out this watch is one of only twelve made.
I am looking to buy myself my first Breitling but expect this one to be out of my price bracket by the time it ends.

LOL There are six of them on Ebay UK at the moment. Pretty sure they made way more than twelve. The Breitling source list says of 1900 made.

I did a search and it said there were only 12 with the red face, it must have been a misprint.

There are always a bunch of these for sale, the Navitimer is less common (but still more than 12).

So i understand 1965 Chronomats were made referencing that year and the Reds, they are not rare or particularly desirable in the red arrows lim eds, the chronomat evolution had a limited series of 40 red arrows watches, these were IMHO were much nicer. Yer pays yer money, but this is not a rare watch in reality.

As Roff says, there were 200 navitimer red arrows watches too, these seem to be more collectable. Red arrows editions came in the colt, aerospace, emergency etc... etc...

Is this a different watch?
This is on Andrew Micheals jewellers website made for sqn leader Mike Williams [red 10].
Limited edition of 12 in 1996.

If that is an LE of 12 then it is identical to the regular Chronomat run of almost 2,000. Andrew Michaels is a sponsor, and ricardo is a member who works there, why not ask?

On the right, one of the 200 Old Navitimers.

This particular one I bought from Squaron Leader Adrian Thurley(Ret'd) who was Red 1 , Team Leader, from 1991 until '93 Ironically this watch was #93 of the 200.

(Why oh why did I sell it  )

The Mike Williams LE has the same dial as the regular Reds LE but a specially engraved case back.
