Post subject:  Warranty Issue on SOH 46

so I brought in my Superocean Heritage to get cleaned up this weekend at my AD and they told me my stem wasnt working correctly,(which i noticed myself) it was not locking all the way in rather it would continuously turn like something on the inside was stripped. However the watch is like 2-3 mos. old and i have used the stem to set the time maybe once and know for a fact I havnet dropped it or anything. They said "crowns" arent under warranty but wouldnt this be something separate. If not what should i expect to pay?

Well assuming that the issue is with the crown rather than the tube, it's not that expensive - I've seen replacement crowns on vintage pieces for $50 - $75, but.......

You need to push your AD for the warranty coverage of this. I wasn't aware that the crown was excluded, but any AD worth their salt will replace it no questions asked - it's a minor investment in the value of the relationship.

Yeah this is what i was thinking too, Im still waiting for a call back once their watch guy came back to take a better look at it. I'll be unhappy if they try to nickle and dime me over this when my families spend a few hundred grand there over the past 15 or so years.

Any AD with any business sense at all should take care of you. Don't worry.
