Hi all, new to Breitling watches, but a friend has asked me to sell theirs for them on ebay (it's a hobby of mine), but think I will post it in the B&S section here as well. I don't know too much about this particular watch so had a few questions. Hope you guys don't mind The watch was purchased originally on 3/2/07 and has sat in the box for the past 5 years, maybe been worn a total of 3 times. Just not his style.

Having looked around, I think the watch head is Titanium and it has a leather strap. Haven't seen another E76321 with a leather strap (most are rubber or metal). Is this rare or wrong or just different?

Also have seen the the term SUPERQUARTZ thrown around for the older models. What exactly does this mean?

Would this watch still be in warranty? I have a price in mind.... but if anyone wants to throw out what they think it might sell for, that would be great as well.

Any other basic info would be great. Unfortunately the watch was never serviced (sitting in the box) so needs the battery replaced. Here are a few pictures.

It's titanium, it's not under warranty (2 years) and the leather strap is just different to you have seen - 2 minute job to change straps / bracelets so nothing unique there.

When you say the seller commits to registering their purchase with Breitling. Do you mean my friend (the seller) before its sold? Still have the original orange registration card. He should fill that out and send it in before selling it vs. just sending the card to the new owner to fill out?

There is a form that you can obtain from an AD to register the change of ownership. Otherwise your friend is on the hook for teh $50,000 fine if the buyer pulls the Emergency antenna.

And to answer your Superquartz question - Superquartz is essentially a thermocompensated quartz movement, which means it takes into account (and compensates for) changes in temperature that can minutely affect the rate. This means that an already accurate quartz watch is made even more accurate - chronometer quartz rated in fact.

Chronometer-rated quartz is something of a niche audience, but then again if you've got a quartz watch, why not have it as accurate as possible.

Just wondering, if he never registered the watch, and the new owner does not register the watch, who is on the hook? I will make sure to ask the new owner to register it.

No idea.

Breitling probably still thinks that the AD has it.
