Hi guys, apologies if this is old information, but I just stumbled across this - http://www.andrewmichaels.co.uk/bbmf_display.asp and was really impressed that Breitling not only produced these, but also that a good portion of the proceeds are going to keep the flight in the air. My father was a navigator / bomb aimer in Lancasters during the latter years of the war and my memory is full of emotional childhood memories of not just the flight, but also their impact on my father. Not sure that I can afford this so soon after my other Breitling purchase, but if anyone has a Lancaster version please look after it - I'll be in touch in a couple of years. |

In fact there is a big mistake in that series: The Lancaster did not take part in the battle of Britain, it wasn't even in service at that time. BG Thomas |
