There's a spring inside.
Maybe it's better to take it to an AD to do that.

It's very easy to do yourself if you are careful and have the right sized screwdrivers. DO NOT try and improvise if you have the wrong sized screwdriver!! You just unscrew the screws and then slightly turn the bezel to lift it off. Bnewbie is right about there being a spring wire in a groove inside the bezel and also a small metal ring on the case that allows the ratchet of the bezel to work. It's nigh on impossible to make a mistake..... as long as you take your time and go easy.

I had to do this myself quite recently as I put a very small scratch on the polished side of the bezel so removed it to go to work with the Cape Cods. Came up as good as new and putting the bezel back was dead-easy too.

I did it with a "not perfect" screwdriver and jacked up almost all of the screws. The screws are very delicate, so if you damage the first one, just give up and take it to the dealer. I kept on trying and eventually ruined all of them

That said, one tip is not to remove the screw completely. They dont need to be taken all the way out. Doing so only makes it a pain in the ass to put them back in.

There is a ring and a round spring in there, but unless youre an idiot, you can figure out what to do with those.

Good point! I DID take all mine right out, but fortunately I had a loupe and a pair of teezers to hand as well! If you have big hands (like mine) it's not an easy fingers only job!
