I want to replace the springbars on my Crosswind. Are these Breitling parts or does everyone use a generic form?

Breitling springbars are very high quality and therefore very strong, some (not all) of the generic springbars are poor quality and bearing in mind that they are the only piece securing the watch to your strap or bracelet I don't think it's a good idea to take the risk.
In most cases either Breitling themselves or a good Breitling AD will give you the springbars free anyway.

One additional point worth noting is that on some models the springbars Breitling supply for straps are different in specification to the ones used for bracelets so make sure you specify.

Thanks Shalako. I went to my A.D. and obtained a set for a bracelet and a pair for a leather strap. Definitely a difference between the two. Worked like a charm.
