Following a discussion in this thread - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=42000

We are going to try a tournament style greatest ever Breitling contest. The contest will put two Breitlings head to head with the watch that gets the most votes moving on to the next round until only one watch remains. For now, please submit your candidates for inclusion, we may need to reconcile later, but let's try to come up with a list of nominees. A few points:

- Criteria for a candidate is very flexible - if you think that it is a contender for greatest Breitling then list it, we'll figure out head to head contests later.
- Letter variations do not count - we don't have SS, TT and 18K versions separately
- Model number distinguishes between candidates - 13048 is different from 13050 for example, but if the only distinction is the COSC (0 or 3 in the third digit) then they are considered the same. Similarly identical watches that changed model number with the format change at the end of the 80s are considered the same
- Please no discussion in this thread, just your candidate
- Please make it clear which watch you are proposing - Chronomat or Navitimer is rather general.

Here's what we already have from the other thread (in no particular order), I will update this post with new submissions. Please note, if your post in that thread was unclear for example the "SuperOcean Heritage line" then I have avoided guessing, so please submit specific model candidates here (you can suggest more than one).

Thanks for all the work done Roff.

Putting forward more that one takes the pressure of a bit so I'll kick it off with more of my choices.

SteelFish, the last arrow hand one.

The Chronomat evolution, as apossoed to the C13

Top Time.

And I shall leave the emergency For some one else to list!

Would like to see:

Chronomat Cal.13
Crosswind Racing
Hercules

And so this isn't an all-chrono competition:

Colt II
SO 17360
SOH

Hey, maybe you need a chrono bracket and non-chrono bracket?

Which SOH - 38 or 46?

Which model are you referring to by Colt II?

Although I don't own any of these models :!: I submit my nomination for the Navi 01.

What great combo other than their most iconic watch with their first modern in-house movement?

EDIT:oops ok then I will have nothing to add everyone has spoken for everything else I like. :lingsrock:
