CHRONOMAT 41 LIMITED
An exceptional fuselage for an exceptional engine.

Performance. Precision. Elegance. The Chronomat 41 with its Manufacture Breitling caliber and its superb presence on the wrist has asserted itself as the chronograph par excellence. The epitome of the Breitling spirit. The brand now offers its star model in a 2,000-piece limited series that will appeal more strongly than ever to enthusiasts of original designs. The sporting touch is accentuated by a black dial with a red central chronograph seconds hand and red counter hands. An authentic, understated and powerful instrument panel. The original and generous lines of the steel case are enhanced by all-polished finishes – as are the bracelet and the rotating bezel engraved with exclusive numerals. The transparent sapphire crystal caseback affords the rare privilege of a chance to admire Breitling Caliber 01, the world's finest chronograph movement, entirely developed and produced in the brand workshops. Water-resistant to 200 m (660 ft), the Chronomat 41 Limited is naturally chronometercertified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute) – as indeed are all Breitling models. A strong, unique and quintessential design, combined with all the performances expected of an authentic "instrument for professionals".

Eh? :huh So it's a Chronomat 01 LE (44mm version) shrunk by 3mm and polished. And the point of that is......?????

Not saying it's a bad looking watch, because it's not, but making the exact same watches in multiple sizes seems rather odd to me.

From the photo it looks like a brushed/polished bracelet and polished case with brushed bezel.
Sounds interesting but will have to compare in "steel" with my 44 LE and on the wrist before I might consider.
Sharkman, this one might be for you buddy ;-)

Yeah I thought that the bracelet may have brushed elements to it too.

It's better than many recent issues, but that font's still not for me and I really don't get the constant stream of high production run LEs.

Not bad, but I still don't understand that square pattern on the dial. I'd prefer to see it fully brushed. I also think they should have used a different color scheme or something to differentiate it from the 44 LE. I'd still like to see one with yellow instead of red.

Never mind the square bit for a moment and if there is some religious reason to keep it, it is hardly noticed on the black dial and it is there for those that might just like it ;-)
The color scheme with the red seemed to work quite well for the 44 LE so why not continue with it???

Nice looking, unfortunately it says it's all polished :( . I like the larger looking lume area on the batons in the 41mm model.

It also says that the bezel is all polished, but the top surface in that picture is clearly not.

I don't the 44 LE was flying off the shelves. I agree, it was very nice looking, I just think they should offer something different.

Looks polished to me. Brushed or at least alternating brushed and polished would be better.

I'd love to see this size in the flesh. Hopefully it's more cuff friendly.

I like it, if it was identical to the 44, I would likely prefer it. 44mm is just too big for me for every day.

Tough crowd. I like it a lot. 44mm Chronomats have never really fit me well, so this would probably be perfect. DB will probably look amazing with the smaller case as well.

And it looks fully polished to me.

It's not bad looking...but given all the Chronomat love, I wish they would bring back the (real) Blackbird :(
