Hmm, I like the SO mesh but I'm not sure it goes well with the SA.

The watch will dwarf that bracelet which really is quite thin. IMO, the Ocean Classic would ruin and SA. It needs the beefiness of the Pro II.

I like anything that gives the watch a unique look I thought of that combo for my SA but got a blue OR to match my SA's blue face I also had a tan band made for me from my old baseball glove.

It's not quite working for me - the head does seem to dominate the mesh quite a lot.

I'd get it on pro 2 bracelet as that is a great look. Then get a Staub mesh. They make it in two thicknesses. Get the thicker it has screws not pins. I got the thicker of the two for my PO 45.5mm as I was not going to fork out over $1K for the Omega version for a $3K watch. Thought I might not like an after market mesh on my new Omega but I love it, hardly ever wear the OEM.

The SA overpowers the bracelet tremendously IMHO. Where as on the SO, your eyes will look at the watch head and bracelet as one, your eyes go straight to the SA head and neglect to even notice the bracelet. The bracelet also makes the already hefty watch head appear even larger than it is. The SA is the 60 inch TV and the bracelet is the 12x12 room. Rather than complimenting, they detract from each other, at least in my head.

it's certainly unique :)

Personally I think it looks better on a Pro2 or leather strap.
Maybe try it on in person and see what you think?

Hmmmmm, not for me. I tried a Speed bracelet on one of my SA's a few years back and while it looked better than the mesh IMO, it didn't quite hang right and was also too thin for the SA. The Pro II is the only sensible bracelet option for a watch of the SA's size IMO.
