I finally figured out where Breitling's designer for the new Colt got their design inspiration for the watch!...

Here's the watch..

I also have a theory as to why this very same designer decided one day to rid the Chronomat of rider tabs...you see, one day when coming home to his wife after work, he was wearing his Chronomat EVO, and at the dinner table, his brunette haired wife noticed that there was a blonde hair stuck on one of his rider tabs! Busted!! From then on, he vowed to remove the rider tabs from Breitlings! Lol. The banque check number font on the new bezel was also because he ended up having to write big checks to his wife to make up for that blonde hair stuck on his rider tab! :D

Now, we're all stuck with his problems because of his indiscretions! ;)

I have a number of Breitlings in my collection spanning the last 15 years including a Colt dating back to 2000. I can not imagine parting with any of them yet at the same time I can not imagine parting with any $$$ to get this latest abortion. Not sure if I'd even want it for free. Sorry.

It does look like a water valve/spigot. Anyone who buys it gets HOSED. See what I did there? :uplaugh:

Well, you're hosed because with that design, no one wants one....unless you've got a thing for plumbing. :D

top one is obviously Franken... layout is all wrong, and looks like a bad imitation of a Breitling

The bottom one is a great vintage piece though :)

(on a side note... the bezel IS very similar!)

Does that blue TAG usually come on a strap or bracelet?
