Post subject: | Difference Btwn Evo: A1335611-G5-357A...G5-444 and A5-300A |
Hey All, I am new the forum, but have been drooling over getting a Breitling for many years. Well, the time has come to pull the trigger. I have read many posts on here before posting and have received great information. My question, what is the difference between the following Chrono Evo models: A1335611-G5-357A A1335611-G5-444 A1335611-A5-300A I know the first two list the dial color as silver and third as mother of pearl. I ask because, I am thinking about some of the websites you mention here, Jomashop or authenticwatches and they have these models listed. What I am really looking for is the "silver dials and silver subdials, What is the mother of pearl dial?? Thanks for all the help, Soon to be owner. |

My research (based on visiting sites like those you mention) into reference numbers has found dials listed as A5 = White or White/MOP G5 = White or Silver or Ivory According to this site, strap references are... 357A = Pilot Bracelet - 22-20 444X = Brown Leather Strap - Cowhide, 24-20, Deployant 300A = Pilot Bracelet - 20-18 ? Why different strap sizes for the same watch? Visit Breitling Japan to try out the different dial combinations. http://www.breitling.co.jp/fitting/ |

Thanks for a quick reply...I guess that is why I got confused. Online, the 444 model is shown with a silver steel pilot bracelet, not brown leather, could be website error. Also, I can diffentiate the difference between the silver or mother of pearl..at least online, they both look white with silver subdials. btw, thanks for the link. |

Ok, so I am going to answer my own post. I just got off the phone with a autorized seller here in Los Angeles and got some info. I guess this is only a partial answer.... The EVO has two versions for silver, one is "silver" and the other he referenced as "irodium". Then the mother of pearl has the pearl iridescent finish. I said partial answer, b/c I don't know which model number matches with them. If I get them, I will update. |

I don't think you would confuse rhodium dial with a silver dial in real life - obviously pictures can be misleading. Silver in Breitling speak is white, where as the rhodium dial is definitely a grey colour. I still don't understand the different size pilots. |
