Just bought a used B10050 and the watch looks good except it is missing the 30 and 45 second markers. Anyone know where I can find these? Also, I noticed that the crown is gold plated and showing some wear-through down to the base metal. Should this crown be plated? As with the markers, I would appreciate any recommendation on where I can find a new one.

I have looked on line and can't seem to find a spec sheet on this watch.

Thanks for the help!

With regards to the "30 and 45 sec markers, I assume you are refering to the gold rider tabs attached to the bezel.
Other than searching on ebay, you can of course take the watch to an AD or a Breitling Service Centre.
I am not sure if they will insist on a watch service in order to put on the missing tabs on.
The tabs are not cheap though, one member recently got quoted $175 for one as far as I remember.
The crown is gold plated. I had one replaced on one of my Chronomats about three months ago. Can not remember the price but it was some stupid amount, $200 seems to ring a bell.

I appreciate the information. I was beginning to suspect I may have boughtva bogus watch. Looks like I am going to be out about $500-600 bucks unless I can find the parts used.

I don't know whether a replacement crown will be gold plated. The originals were but a few years back Breitling moved to rolled gold - a thicker gold coating (20 microns) applied as a laminated sheet which is what I suspect would be used for replacement.

The gold rider tabs are expensive because, well, they're gold :)
