Yesterday I got the phonecall I've been waiting for since April, my watch was ready to be collected from watches of Switzerland who had dealt with my full service of my navitimer. My watch was in pretty good condition when it went in other than a chunk out of the clasp that I managed to put in it when I was drunk one night......this however has been totally polished out and the whole bracelet is like brand new. The bracelet will be getting swapped ou for a while though. Thanks to alanm from this forum I was able to pick up a brand new brown croc and deplayant clasp which the watch is now on. Pics: ![]() ![]() Overall very pleased, full service came in at £415, and even though it took almost 4 months it looks great, I forgot how much the watch pops off the wrist. Was loosing about 30 secs per day when it went in so will hopefully be well within cosc spec now which I'll monitor over the next few weeks. Will hopefully be good for the next 7 years! I've been speaking with Watches of Switzerland regarding my new piece. Good to hear that you're pleased, albeit with a long waiting time. |

Wow nice! is that a blue dial? no sure from the light. I am paying double for an overhaul in Japan and an extra £160 for polishing on top too!! |

Wow, since April! I have had several watches overhauled by Breitling Service Centre in Taipei in the last few months and the longest was 6 weeks and the shortest only took 2 weeks. The last one, the Grand Premier took 4 weeks because I requested to change the crystal and it had to be ordered from Switzerland. Granted after six overhauls in as many months, I'm being treated like royalty here ![]() Shame I'm leaving this place now having established such great relationship with them. Anyway, I'm sure your Navi now looks and works like new. It's always a great feeling getting them back fully pampered ![]() |

OMG, overhaul here in Taipei is NTD11,700 or $390 in real Dollars AND it includes polishing, new set of hands and of course a 12 months warranty. Once again, I'm glad I got all my watches attended to here. They have only got one elderly gentleman doing all the servicing. He has been with them for years and years and few months ago scored a stint in Switzerland to get trained up and certified to service B01 movements. I guess he will not be made redundant anytime soon ![]() |

It's a blue dial, wasn't sure how it'd work with the brown croc strap but I think it looks great. In fairness to watches of Switzerland the time it's taken is nothing to do with them, I was told up front it would take 10-12 weeks and I think its now a shade under 14 but once it's away theres nothing you can do but wait. I chose to use them because I have rotten luck with royal mail and couriers so it was just a case of dropping the watch off with them and they take care of getting it to BUK and dealing with any other work that is required so 1 less headache for me. Watch also came back with a nice breitling soft case which was a nice touch. Spent a few hours looking in the ad's at what's next, panerai, bremont and iwc all have some nice designes in at the moment. Sent from my SK17i using Tapatalk 2 |

Damn never occurred to me to use Taipei Breitling. At the prices you quote I am paying 3 times as much and i have 2 watches to overhaul. Might have to get them back from Tokyo Boutique. |

Is it worthwhile developing a sticky thread regarding service costs? It would be an international affair, constantly updated, & save members lots of money de- pending on locations, along with whom they wish to work on their watches. |
