Thanks to a fellow member here, gpension, I am the proud owner of a new (to me) Crosswind Special. Thanks Gene and enjoy the Navi World. So I called Breitling about the last time it was serviced and wanted to see if it was due for a spa treatment. So the lady on the phone said that they cannot tell me when it was serviced based on just the serial number and that they need personal info from the last person that sent it in. Now I have called in the past on my two previous breitlings and was given the right info. Have polices changed at Breitling? |

You know, it's funny - I called them a few weeks ago (not about this watch!) to see if they could check my new chronomat 44 to make sure it wasn't reported as stolen (just doing some homework), and they refused. Basically, they said I would need to send it in, and then they would check. I thought they had provided that info in the past as well? |

I mean, how hard would it be to look up a darn serial number? ![]() How you liking the Navi? |

Not sure about North America, but in Europe ADs now have an online database to look up serial numbers and match to a model. I assume that it would also flag stolen - that would seem obvious, but no idea if it would cover servicing. Remember that BUSA is only a distributor, so even on the days that they are feeling helpful they only have access to watches sent through them - essentially the US market. |

PM me the serialsnumbers, I should be able to look them up on the service tracker. Although, I am not sure, if I can also get american data for that. BG Thomas |
