Anyone had ever encountered a problem where the whole surface or number plate started revolving by itself?
It happened to my B1 and at first I assumed they did not tightened the screws enough in last service, however, this is apparently due to some pins that got broken somehow.
I am curious if it is just me or someone else experience it in any Breitling watch.

By number plate, I assume you mean the dial? If so then yes it sound like the feet (i.e. the pins) that are attached to the base of the dial that keep it in place on the movement have broken off. Not much that would cause that IMO, other than a severe mechnical shock - dropping the watch for example. I guess if the feet were poorly welded, then they might come off over time due to general vibrations from just wearing the watch, or by some kind of mis-handling during a service perhaps. Strange that more than one foot would come off though.......

It's certainly not a usual occurance at all.

Just as a side thought, you're not talking about the geared inner scale are you ? The dial itself having the feet break is VERY rare indeed, unless of course another dial has been replaced at some stage ? The amount of shock required would need to be massive, unless its been messed with.
